A-B Loop — Video Repeat — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-06 · Dolphin Studio LLC, Wisconsin, USA

Short version: A-B Loop runs 100% on your own device. It collects nothing, sends nothing, makes no network requests, has no servers and no account. The loop points you set never leave your browser.

What it does

A-B Loop lets you set an A point and a B point on a video on the page you are viewing, and then repeats that segment. It only adjusts the playback position of the <video> element you are already watching — exactly as if you dragged the progress bar back yourself. That is all it does. It does not download, record, or copy the video.

Data we collect

None. A-B Loop has no servers, no account, no sign-in, no sync, and no backend. We do not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any of your data — not the loop points you set, and no personal or usage data. We cannot see any of it.

What about my saved loops?

The named loops you save (a short text label plus two timestamps, grouped by website) are stored locally on your device using the browser's storage API. They stay on your machine and are never uploaded anywhere.

Does anything leave my browser?

No. A-B Loop makes no network requests of any kind — no servers, no analytics, no CDNs, no API calls. It works fully offline.

Why it needs its permissions

A-B Loop requests only three permissions, each used narrowly:

Removing your data

Uninstalling the extension removes the saved loops it has stored. A-B Loop keeps no data anywhere else, because there is nowhere else — it has no servers.

Third parties & analytics

None. No analytics, no ads, no trackers, no external SDKs, no remote code.
